HOW MOP BOUTIQUE WORKS

1. T-shirt Printing

A) Digital Direct T-shirt Printing
(also known as Digital To Garment or Direct to Garment Printing, DTG)

Other colors available but must wait for 1 month.
*Digital Direct can only be printed on white.

5. Terms and Conditions
All 50 t-shirts must be printed in a single batch.
Full payment of $1,000 is required to proceed.
Designs must be 100% ORIGINAL, not ripped off from deviantart or threadless etc.

OK... WHAT'S NEXT??

1. Get ALL your designs ready. Make sure they are A3 size at 300dpi for raster graphics. For vector graphics, make sure everything is pathed properly.
2. Create an Excel sheet or any spreadsheet to specify for each design: the size, gender and quantity.
2. Email us via yousendit to designer@ministryofpress.com. Please do NOT send huge files to us. We will hate you for life.
3. We will check through the files.
4. We will call you to come down and make payment.
5. When the t-shirts are ready, self-collect at the designated time at our studio in Tanjong Pagar.

Logo must be in vector format (Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand)
Logo will be subjected to our approval as some logos are not suitable for Italian Foil. Additional charges will apply for vectorising or touchup of logo (S$50)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why do you use American Apparel?
It is made in USA. And it is branded. Plain American Apparel t-shirts are already sold at US$18 and locally in Singapore for S$29. We decided that if we use American Apparel and sell you at a very good price, you will stand a better chance.

Can I use my own t-shirt?
If you insist, yes. But we must do a test print first. The price will be the same at S$20 per t-shirt print.

How much should I price the t-shirt?
Price it at least double of S$20, that is S$40; two times the cost is also known as keystone pricing. The cost of marketing and overheads are always overlooked. 2X on the cost is the minimum, otherwise you do not have room to play with.

Why can't you use Digital Direct on blacks?
At the present moment, we do not want to do that as it requires another process which adds to the already high cost.

Why did you reject me as a customer?
There is a number of reasons. We reserve the right to reject anyone.

Why are you not as cheap as China or other printer?
We swear by our designer quality, including our Digital Direct printing. Nobody does Digital to Garment (DTG) printing better than us! And most of all, designers will be handling your production. And we know for sure that nobody will do for you 50 t-shirts at S$20 on American Apparel (made in USA).

Can I print on the side of the t-shirt?
No, we only print in the centre of the t-shirt, either on the front or the back.

Can you help me to produce my own t-shirt with my own label?
Yes, but the minimum order quantity is 500 t-shirts.

Do you do other T-shirt printing methods?
Yes, we also do help our customers to do Silkscreen Printing, Print and Cut etc.

Can I print Italian Foil over Digital Direct?
Yes, it's possible. There will be an additional charge of S$10 per t-shirt.

No. Money doesn't speak loud enough for designers. T-shirt is from American Apparel, directly imported from Los Angeles. You can have any number of designs! Reduce your inventory risk to almost zero. But we think it is better to print a few more sizes, because you can't have one size fits all. But if you are seriously anal about this, we will let you be. And call you stupid behind your back properly. Of course, we hope to see you back soon. If we see you back again, then we are proven wrong. We are happy. But if we do not see you again, then maybe you are... we will leave you in your own conclusions. Also try to test the designs on your friends and we mean friends who will actually buy your stuff. Some friends will say VERY NICE but when you ask them to buy, they will give you lots of excuses. You can trust them for anything else, except your market research. Please note that getting your designs printed on t-shirts is only the first BABY STEP. You got to get out there to sell like crazy... setup a website, facebook, twitter, shout it out to all your friends and enemies, then maybe, maybe you have a chance of succeeding. Also, price is not everything. Use your design and concept as the selling points. Also if you have, your personality. All the best, yah?
